Short Biography
Quinnton Harris (Brooklyn, NY, USA) is Retrospect’s co-founder and CEO. He recently co-led the #hellajuneteenth movement and developed a body of work at the intersection of design, technology and culture.
Long Biography
Retrospect co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Quinnton J Harris is a creative leader and entrepreneur living in Brooklyn, New York, USA. His new venture focuses on bringing perspective and cultural nuance to products & digital experiences for untapped or overlooked market opportunities.
Previously, Quinnton served as a Group Creative Director of Experience Design at Publicis Sapient as well as co-lead of Global Computational Design, which focused on evolving the organization’s design systems offering. He played a critical role in accelerating CXO John Maeda’s vision for fostering a more inclusive, multidimensional, and cohesive Experience Design capability. He also served as head of Experience for San Francisco. In early 2020 Quinnton completed a short tenure as John Maeda’s Chief of Staff, successfully pushing business critical initiatives, implementing systems for global collaboration, and enhancing internal communication strategies.
Quinnton recently co-led the #hellajuneteenth movement and got over 600 companies committed to observing Juneteenth as a paid holiday for its employees in 2020. Prior to joining Publicis Sapient, he served as inaugural creative director at Blavity, Inc., and before that led design at Walker & Company Brands, a start-up consumer products and tech company notably acquired by Procter & Gamble.
Quinnton is an alum of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating with a SB in Mechanical Engineering and dual minors in Architecture and Visual arts. His hometown is Maywood, IL, where he is a proud alum of Proviso East High School.
